Material Help to Kant Elementary & Middle Schools #4

CAPS personnel worked with teachers and administrators at Kant’s A. M. Mursabaeva Elementary and Middle schools, #4, to provide updated English textbooks and new desks and chairs for two of the classrooms. The materials that were replaced were almost 30 years old, from the early 1990s.

Chaek Village Water Well

A CAPS water engineer, in coordination with local leadership in the village of Chaek, installed a well to help meet the village’s water needs. This was a two-part project, which began in spring and was worked on over the summer and finished early fall in 2021.

Mobility Equipment and Medical Aid

In October 2021, CAPS personnel, in partnership with Medical Aid International, CIC from the UK, were able to provide mobility equipment for disabled and injured children and medical and surgical equipment for the hospital group in Talas oblast.

Jangy Jer New Village Water Lines

The village of Jangy Jer has expanded in recent years, but all of the new homes built had no access to water at the residence. Villagers had to walk to the old part of the village to collect water to use in their homes. A CAPS water engineer tied into the existing system that supplied water to the older half of the village and added approximately 2 km of piping to supply water to the new half of the village.

School Desks and Flooring for School in Kant

CAPS personnel were able to fully supply 2 classrooms for a school in Kant with all new desks and chairs for the students, a desk and chair and shelves for the teachers, and a chalkboard for the room. Additionally, they also replaced the linoleum in the science lab.
